Farely Simple - a Fun & Interactive Personal Project
When I first arrived in Vancouver as an international student, the public transit system became my lifeline. It allowed me to study, work, and explore the city with ease—and I’ve been fascinated by it ever since. I created Farely Simple to combine my technical instructional design skills with my deep appreciation for TransLink. Even the character, Rose, is inspired by the helpful transit attendants I’ve observed across the network over the years.

Farely Simple: is an interactive eLearning experience designed to demystify Vancouver’s transit system for first-time visitors. Leveraging Articulate Storyline 360 and UX design principles, I transformed complex fare payment options into a user-friendly simulation. As a Workforce Learning Innovation Specialist, I focused on reducing "navigation anxiety" by implementing visual cues, ensuring learners can master the "First hurdle"- pay the transit fare - in under three minutes. This project showcases my ability to bridge the gap between technical municipal data and accessible, engaging adult education. You can experience the project right here!

Audiovisual Resources and Activities
I believe learning should be as engaging as it is informative. Whether I’m leading an online workshop or an in-person session, I focus on making every interaction count. I love using Vyond to turn complicated topics into fun, digestible videos. To keep energy high and minds active, I also weave gamified elements into my curriculum using tools like AhaSlides, WordWall, and Kahoot.

Panda e-Learning Lab
I'm thrilled to introduce my new instructional design portfolio website, PandaeLearning.com! The name "Panda" has a special place in my heart for three reasons:

-
When I was seven, I lost a dear family member. During that difficult time, a relative gifted me a fluffy panda toy. This unique companion quickly became a source of comfort, creating an emotional bond that has stayed with me ever since.
-
My grandmother found it hard to pronounce "Pantea," so she lovingly called me "Panda" since it was the only name close to what she knew already! It's a nickname filled with warmth, love, and FUN!
-
I adore pandas! They're caring and peaceful.
