Beginner French

I started teaching French in Canada since February 2022.

From May 2022 to March 2023, I had the pleasure of leading beginner French classes for a wonderful multi-generational community in West Vancouver. I based my lessons on Cosmopolite A1 but added my own twist with custom games and activities to keep things lively. My goal was always to create a welcoming, low-pressure space where students of all ages (20–85!) felt heard, supported, and encouraged as they tackled a brand-new language.

Volunteering

Implemented a French language program specifically designed for the Farsi-speaking senior demographic (60+). The initiative focused on reducing social isolation by creating a collaborative learning environment and a community of practice.
